AIR AMBULANCES UK ANNOUNCES NEW CHAIR OF TRUSTEES
Air Ambulances UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Sarah Thewlis as the new Chair of its Board of Trustees. Sarah takes on the role following a comprehensive selection process to identify a leader with the expertise and strategic vision to guide the organisation in its ongoing mission to support air ambulance charities across the UK.
Sarah brings extensive leadership experience from a diverse career spanning human resources, logistics, healthcare management, and executive search. She began her career at Marks and Spencer before moving into senior leadership roles, including Deputy Chief Executive at the Royal College of Physicians, Chief Executive at the Royal College of General Practitioners, and Chief Executive and Registrar at the Nursing and Midwifery Council. In 2010, she established Thewlis Graham Associates, a boutique executive search and consultancy firm specialising in the not-for-profit sector, professional bodies, and regulatory organisations.
Reflecting on her appointment, Sarah said:

I look forward to serving with the rest of the Board and to working collaboratively in driving forward the organisation’s mission and strengthening the vital support provided to the regional bodies across the UK.”
