Kwik Fit Announced as principal sponsor for Air Ambulances UK Annual Awards of Excellence
Air Ambulances UK is thrilled to announce Kwik Fit, the UK’s leading automotive servicing and repair company, as the principal sponsor for the 2024 Annual Awards of Excellence.
The event will be held at the Coventry Building Society Arena, home of Coventry City FC, on 28th November 2024. Since announcing the partnership in October 2023, Kwik Fit has already raised a significant amount through a wide variety of initiatives. These include a hugely successful golf day, staff fundraising events such as long distance walks on the West Highland Way and the Thames Bridges, and activities at the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship race weekends. To date, their efforts have resulted in raising over £160,000, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the vital work of the UK’s air ambulance charities.
The Air Ambulances UK Annual Awards of Excellence is a prestigious event, dedicated to celebrating the remarkable achievements of those involved in the lifesaving work of air ambulance charities across the UK. This year’s event promises to be an inspiring occasion, set in a brand-new location, and will bring together charity teams, air ambulance crews, volunteers, and young people to recognise outstanding contributions in charity, clinical and aviation excellence. The awards include categories such as ‘Air Ambulance Doctor of the Year,’ ‘Air Ambulance Paramedic of the Year,’ and ‘Charity Volunteer of the Year’ to name a few.

Kwik Fit’s national support is helping to increase both local and national awareness of these essential missions and to enhance the capabilities of all air ambulance charities, helping to save even more lives. This event is also a celebration of the incredible daily work of our air ambulance community and offers an opportunity to bring everyone together to share experiences, successes and our commitment to patient care.”
