The busy retail team at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity are looking for public donations to help stock its newest store opening at Merry Hill later this month.
Midlands Air Ambulance Charity operates six successful charity shops across the region, and this latest addition will be the only charity shop located in Merry Hill, one of the UK’s largest retail destinations.
The shop is expecting to open on Thursday 24th November at 11am in time for Christmas shopping and Black Friday deals.
Ahead of the launch, the pre-hospital emergency service is appealing for donations of pre-loved goods. Items that the charity is looking for include, electricals, clothing, shoes, toys, bric-a-brac, books and media and linen. Donations can be made the charity’s HQ, situated just two miles from the new shop at Hawthorn House on the Dudley Road (DY9 8BQ).
There are two donation stations based inside the reception area of the head office building. For donations of bigger items such as pre-loved furniture, which can be collected for free within a ten-mile radius of Merry Hill, please call the charity on 0800 8 40 20 40.
The charity is also looking to recruit a team of dedicated volunteers to join the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity family and help with the new store’s preparation ahead of its opening, as well as donating their time once the shop has officially launched.
