Riders of Charity to support Air Ambulances UK

We are delighted to announce Riders of Charity (ROC) will be supporting Air Ambulances UK throughout 2022.

ROC started in 2019 after Victor, the Creator and Event Organiser lost his mother to Vascular Dementia. He organised a motorcycle ride out from Lands’ End to John O’Groats, not wanting to travel alone he invited a friend which through the power of social media then turned into many members of the motorbike community joining. Any biker is welcome to join as long as they make a donation to charity.

This year ROC are taking on Ireland’s ‘Wild Atlantic Way’ which is 1600 miles, the Wild Atlantic Way is the longest defined coastal touring route in the world. ROC are also supporting Alzheimer’s Society, Stroke Association and Mental Health Motorbike.

Victor, Riders of Charity Creator and Event Organiser said:

‘As a motor biker you accept the dangers you face on the road, knowing that the Air Ambulance is there should the worst happen is a huge comfort. Air Ambulances are often forgotten as an emergency service, it’s work is vital and often life saving. It is Riders of Charity’s absolute honour to raise money for this incredible charity’

Air Ambulances UK CEO Simmy Akhtar said:
