Air Ambulances UK proudly announces the appointment of The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally DBE, the esteemed Bishop of London, as Ambassador. In this significant role, Bishop Sarah will lend her support and influential voice to raise awareness for the life-saving missions of air ambulance charities across the United Kingdom.

With a distinguished career in healthcare and a commitment to public service, Bishop Sarah brings a wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to her role as an Ambassador for Air Ambulances UK. Her involvement is set to significantly strengthen the charity’s support for the indispensable work carried out by air ambulance charities across the UK.

Before her ordination in 2001, Bishop Sarah held a number of clinical and leadership roles in nursing, including as Chief Nursing Officer for England.  Her dedication to healthcare and her invaluable contributions were recognised with a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2005 for her services to nursing and midwifery. She was installed as Bishop of London in 2018.
