AAUK is the national charity supporting the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities, enabling them to save even more lives every day.  Air ambulance crews bring the Emergency Department to patients who have suffered a life threatening or life changing trauma or medical emergency; providing advanced critical care to save lives.

The ABR Festival is a celebration of adventure, motorcycles and riders, bringing thousands of like-minded individuals and the motorcycle industry together for a weekend of great entertainment, riding, food and drink.

For AAUK, the ABR Festival was a great opportunity to  meet and chat with the adventure bike community, but also a chance to spread awareness of the lifesaving work of UK Air Ambulance charities. Interacting with so many attendees was a great pleasure, and we are grateful for the chance to connect with the motorcycling community.

Simmy Akhtar, Air Ambulances UK CEO said:

“The Adventure Bike Rider Festival was a fantastic occasion for AAUK to connect with adventure riders and enthusiasts. It provided us with a great opportunity to share the lifesaving work of the UK’s air ambulance charities”.

AAUK looks forward to participating in future adventure bike rider events, building connections within the motorcycle industry and raising awareness of the essential work of UK’s Air Ambulance charities.
