AIR AMBULANCES UK APPOINTS LINDSAY BOSWELL CBE AS INTERIM CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Air Ambulances UK is pleased to announce the appointment of Lindsay Boswell CBE as Interim CEO. The appointment follows a thorough selection process to identify a leader with the vision and expertise to drive the charity forward in its mission to support air ambulance charities across the UK.
Lindsay brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the role, with over three decades of leadership in the charity sector. His career highlights include serving as London Director for the Prince’s Trust Volunteers, Director of Operations at Raleigh International, and CEO of the Institute of Fundraising.
Lindsay served as Chief Executive of FareShare for 13 years, transforming it into a nationally recognised food charity. His impactful work at FareShare earned him the title of Charity CEO of the Year in 2023.
Most recently, Lindsay held interim leadership roles as CEO at the European Food Banks Federation and WeSeeHope, where he provided strategic direction during key transitional periods.
