Ageas announces Air Ambulance UK as its new charity partner
Ageas UK, one of the largest car and home insurers in the UK has chosen Air Ambulances UK as its charity partner for 2022 – helping the UK’s national air ambulance charity to save even more lives.
After considering a number of worthy charities employees on the Ageas Charity Committee chose to support Air Ambulances UK (AAUK) because of the fantastic lifesaving work it does supporting local communities across the UK.
AAUK is the national charity championing, supporting and representing the lifesaving work of the UK’s 21 regional air ambulance charities.
Through the partnership Ageas will be engaging employees and customers to support the five air ambulance charities based near their offices in London (London’s Air Ambulance), Manchester (North West Air Ambulance) , Eastleigh (Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance), Gloucester (Great Western Air Ambulance Charity) and Bournemouth (Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance) as well as the other 16 air ambulance charities across the UK.
The Ageas Executive charity ambassador Adam Beckett said;
“The amazing life-saving work done by this charity every day is entirely funded by public donations and so we’re delighted to be supporting their missions this year.
“It was really no surprise that this was our chosen charity for 2022 as Air Ambulances are very close to the hearts of a number of our colleagues who have first-hand experience of their work.
“The Ageas family is now busily planning fundraising activities to beat last year’s fundraising success. I’m sure we’ll succeed and no doubt we’ll have a lot of fun as we do so.”
