Derek Redmond, a World and European relay champion, is renowned for breaking the British 400m record and being a key member of the relay squad that secured gold at the 1991 World Championships in Tokyo. His dedication and determination were on full display at the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, where he finished the 400m semi-final despite tearing his hamstring, creating one of the most inspirational moments in Olympic history.

In his role as Ambassador for Air Ambulances UK, Oliver Townend will actively engage in campaigns and initiatives aimed at highlighting the indispensable role of air ambulance charities across the UK. Bishop Sarah Mullally

With a distinguished career in healthcare and a commitment to public service, Bishop Sarah brings a wealth of experience and unwavering dedication to her role as an Ambassador for Air Ambulances UK. Her involvement is set to significantly strengthen the charity’s support for the indispensable work carried out by air ambulance charities across the UK.

Before her ordination in 2001, Bishop Sarah held a number of clinical and leadership roles in nursing, including as Chief Nursing Officer for England.  Her dedication to healthcare and her invaluable contributions were recognised with a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) in 2005 for her services to nursing and midwifery. She was installed as Bishop of London in 2018.

As a Chartered Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture, he has accumulated over 35 Royal Horticultural Medals for his outstanding exhibits at prestigious shows such as The Chelsea Flower Show. His excellence in horticulture was further underscored when HRH Prince Edward Duke of Edinburgh selected David as his 2019 choice for the Excellence in Horticulture Award.
