Launch of Golden Hour Give an Hour marks countdown to National Air Ambulance Week 2019

Golden Hour often refers to the celebratory last hour of the working week, but it has a very different meaning for people with a life-threatening injury or medical emergency.

It is the first hour following such injury or illness when recieiving critical lifesaving care increases the chance of a patient’s survivial.

That’s why Air Ambulances UK has launched its first-ever national fundraising event called, Golden Hour Give an Hour TM taking place 4pm-5pm on Friday 13th September to celebrate National Air Ambulance Week 2019.

Golden Hour Give an HourTM highlights how vital it can be to receive rapid critical care from one of the UK’s air ambulance charities within the first ‘golden hour’ of a life-threatening injury or medical emergency.

It’s a great oppotunity for businesses, organisations and employees to donate an hour’s profit or pay to Air Ambulances UK to help air ambulance charities across the UK save even more lives every day.

Taking part in Golden Hour Give an HourTM is quick and easy.
