Trinity Home Care Group Announces Air Ambulances UK As Their Charity for 2023

After a company-wide vote, Trinity Homecare Group announced their Charity of the year for 2023, Air Ambulances UK.

All staff members across the group had the opportunity to nominate a chosen charity with nominations being received for a variety of thoroughly deserving causes, all with their own special meaning to individual staff members.

The Trinity Homecare Group started over 20 years ago when a husband and wife team founded a small care agency in Wimbledon. They wanted to make a difference to peoples’ lives and after all this time, this has never changed. They are a multi-award-winning home care provider that’s committed to supporting life’s journeys. From compassionate companionship to heartfelt and respectful personal care.

Simmy Akhtar, AAUK CEO said “We are extremely proud and honoured to be chosen as the charity of the year for the Trinity Homecare Group. Air ambulance charities are collectively dispatched to over 100 lifesaving missions each day across the UK, delivering advanced pre-hospital care to people with a sudden life-threatening injury or illness, saving lives and improving patient outcomes. Each lifesaving mission by air costs on average £3,962 and are funded almost entirely by donations. We look forward to working with the Trinity Homecare Group and we are thankful that the partnership will help air ambulance charities to save even more lives.”

Andrew Needham, CEO of Trinity Homecare Group said when announcing the chosen charity to all team members: “It’s important that as an organisation we live our values, but also that what we care about includes our wider community. Together we can make a positive contribution to how many people Air Ambulances UK are able to help. I want to thank every one of our team for the many nominations we received for our Charity of the Year. They are all extremely worthy of our support. There were personal stories which were very moving and for every nomination a lot of passion shone through.”

The Trinity Homecare Group teams are now collating ideas for fundraising events that will take place throughout the year in support of Air Ambulances UK.
